Fantastic Experience! Enjoyed spending time on the water, nice way to see Reims. BoBoat representatives were very professional and enjoyed interacting with us given we spoke limited French. Boats are new and quiet as they are electric.
Was interesting to see the people of Reims enjoying the river as well! The boats do not go fast so a 1.5hr or 2hr. excursion will be enough time to cruise!
As for the other individuals poor reviews... the river is what you make of it, the boats are a fabulous idea and are new. If the company kept part of your deposit because you were careless then the deposit served its purpose.

We had a lovely couple of hours in the early evening sunshine exploring the Canal de l'Aisne a la Marne. We were thrilled to pass a working barge, quietly carrying cargo in the most environmentally friendly and energy efficient way. It was fun to see the side of Reims that most visitors miss, and there was even the distant view of the Cathedral from the turning point at Port Colbert. Tom was very helpful and explained everything and the boats are comfortable, stable and easy to steer.
We can thoroughly recommend this way of passing the time, perhaps with a picnic.

Absolute scam with rude personnel. There is literally nothing interesting to see on the route. Only some bushes and some industry. "Unique way to see Reims", except you don't see anything of Reims. The total route you're allowed to take takes an hour, so if you pay for two hours prepare to spend your time standing still in the water.
When returning the boat I told the guy with the moustache that we were a bit disappointed with the route. He answered: "So what?" And walked away.
Finally 3 days later we notice they took 50 euros from the deposit we paid. Why? Because we had a bag of ice that melted and some water leaked into the boat. We offered to clean it but they said it wasn't necessary (it was literally a 1 minute cleaning job, but it was obviously so they could scam 50 euros more from us).
I normally never write bad reviews, but these people are scammers, nothing more. Don't waste your time and money here.

When we arrived, the employees were not caring at all and saw us as a bag of money (even though it was not too expensive). We asked some things about the route and the employees were very short, arrogant and not helpfull at all. Because of the awfull experience in the first 15 min we decided not even to do the trip...... Luckily Reims is nice and we still had a good day.
